Rachel Hooks is a cycling enthusiast and cycling gear ‘junkie’.  She is also a trained cycle-fitter and amateur bike mechanic (manual open type).  Other than for self amusement (of the literary kind) she hopes this blog with provide a little entertainment, information and inspiration to those with (or not yet with) similar convictions.  Being a ‘girl’ (used somewhat euphemistically) she may have a bias in rambling on about stuff that is perhaps a bit more specific to fellow female cyclists – though important, she doesn’t just mean frame colours.  Any reviews posted are completely independent.  In other words, she says what she thinks from baloney to brilliant.  As the aforementioned editor is lucky enough to be living in Scotland (a version of cycling heaven) she will be posting rides for locals to enjoy and non-locals to be inspired to travel to.  Enjoy.
